Tombstone of Franciszek Piotrowski

Burial place marked by a two-stage plinth on base. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front in an engraved frame an engraved inscription. On the front of the second step of the pedestal in an oval panel a relief bust of the Virgin and Child. Mary holds the Infant in her left hand, her right hand holding the Infant's hand. She is dressed in a ruffled robe, veil and crown on her head. Child with crown on head. On the right, in a panel enclosed by a full arch, a relief of St Nicholas (?). His right hand in a gesture of blessing, in his left hand he holds a pastoral and a Scripture. He is dressed in a long robe and cloak fastened with a clasp, a cross on his chest, a mitre on his head. Visible moustache, beard and hair. On the left, in a panel enclosed by a full arch, the relief figure of St Francis. The saint holds a cross on his chest in his right hand and a Scripture in his left. He is dressed in a habit, girded at the hips with a cord. Visible beard, hair, halo above head and bare feet.

Franciszek / PIOTROWSKI / przeżył lat 56 zmarł 6 Sierpn. / 1910. / Wdzięczna żona i dzieci najdroż: / szemu mężowi i ojcu. //.
