Gravestone of Maria Karczewska

Бучач | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by cast iron cross on plinth. Plinth not preserved. Cross with arms terminating and filled with floral form, framed in lower part by Mourning group supported on plinth with two kneeling angels. The Virgin Mary on the right, St John on the left, with Mary Magdalene kneeling in the centre. At the intersection of the arms a radial gloria and angelic head, above a titulus, below an oval panel framed by a floral wreath with a convex inscription.
