A tall tomb with a semi-circular lid, separated by a longitudinal groove, on which is a plastic cross, on the front of the lid a plastic small cross, below a panel with an inscription plaque.

Louis Charles Alphonse Morand, born 20 December 1813 at Mayence (Mont-Tonnerre), died 10 July 1905 in Paris (75 rue du Roche), was a naval officer and officer of the Legion of Honour (from 1849, base Leonore Dossier: LH/1924/41). He was the son of Charles Antoine Louis Alexis Morand and Émilie Lucile Parys, and the grandson of Euphrosine, née Malczewski Paryss. His wife, born at Paimboeuf (Loire-Atlantique) on 23 November 1830, was the daughter of Alexis Marie Pierre Geffroy de Villeblanche (b. 1792) and Émilie Angelique Genevieve Lagarde (1794-1869). She died on 21 July 1869 in Sannois (Val-d'Oise). The couple married on 25 August 1851 in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).
