Tombstone of Zygmunt Rymkiewicz

Burial site marked by cross on two-stage plinth and base. Cross on plinth. The first and second steps of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. On the front, panels with a frame where a relief floral motif is carved in the corners. In panels (1, 2) a relief inscription. On the panel a circular flowerbed and 4 pedestals originally connected by a cast iron chain.

According to Wacław Wejtka's note of 12 June 1936, the deceased was commemorated by an oak cross with a plaque bearing the inscription: S + P / Zygmunt - Henryk / Rymkiewicz / Generał - Brygady w stanie / spoczynku. Died / tragic death / on 27 January 1934 / at the age of 72 / Honour his memory //. This allows the tombstone to be dated after 1936. Zygmunt Henryk Rymkiewicz was murdered by thieves in his own flat while giving allowances to the poor.
