Altarpiece by Jerzy Klemens Swieciński in the church of Notre-Dame-de la-Salette in Suresnes

The altarpiece in the church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette in Suresnes, by Jerzy Klemens Swieciński, was created in 1924. It was made in sandstone using the relief technique and measures 140 x 69 cm. The composition of the altarpiece consists of five parts, separated by pilasters. In the central part there is a representation of the Last Supper, shown in spherical perspective. On the sides of the altarpiece there are figures of angels - in the two sections closest to the centre, the angels are kneeling, while in the two outer sections they are depicted standing.
