In 1930, a monument commemorating Marshal Józef Piłsudski was unveiled in Budsław, in what is now Belarus. The monument had the form of a stone pyramid set on a rectangular base. In the central part of the monument was a plaque with a bas-relief depicting the Marshal's profile and an inscription with the date "1920-1930".
