Robert Zygmunt Kaczka (1890-1978), born in Vienna to a Polish family, former soldier of the 2nd Foreign Legion regiment. Naturalised in France on 6 October 1919. (Decree No. BB/34/445 and 260-1134, ref. 20594 X 14, numéro du dossier en sous-série BB/11); at the time of his naturalisation he was resident in Paris.

His wife was Henriette Haren. This marriage produced a daughter, Elisabeth Kaczka (1927-2021), who married Roger Mallet.

Robert Kaczka died on 6 January 1978 in Monaco and was buried on 18 January 1978.
