Stanisław Sałajczyk (1916-1990), born in Warsaw, son of Jan Sałajczyk, blacksmith, and Anna Deczkowska.

On 14 September 1938, at St Adalbert Parish in Warsaw, he married Michalina Wacława Marcelewicz.

During World War II, he served in the Polish Air Force in Great Britain with the rank of corporal, specialising in gunsmithing. His last assignment was with the Night Fighter Squadron.
