On Via Sistina in Rome, on the façade of the building at number 123, there is a plaque dedicated to Cyprian Kamil Norwid (1821-1883). The inscription in Italian reads: "Polish poet, artist and thinker, in 1847 and 1848 he lived in this house pondering the ideals of Roman art".
