Biography:

Wawrzyniec Dajczak (1882-1968), born in Reniów, son of Maciej, architectural engineer. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Lviv Polytechnic in 1915. He was involved in the underground organisation "ZET", and was a member of the People's School Society, which was involved in social and educational activities. He was the founder of the Bartosz Squads, an independence organisation for rural youth. In 1918, he was a member of the Supreme Command for the Defence of Lviv and the mobilisation manager of the Polish Military Cadres. As an architect he designed and realised about 100 churches.
