Biography:

Wiktor Wilk (1949-2016), born in Kraśnik, architect. In 1973 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. He started his professional career in Kraśnik and then worked in Lublin and Zamość, where he served as deputy director of WBPP from 1978. In 1980-1983, he headed WDRMiOW and WDI, and later the PKZ branch (1983-1988, 1993-1994). He specialised in conservation and construction work, carrying out projects in Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus, among others. In 2004, he was awarded the Vatican's Order of Saint Gregory the Great.
