Carl Friedrich Wolfrum's villa in Usti nad Labem

Carl Friedrich Wolfrum's villa in Usti nad Labem, built between 1887 and 1910, was designed by two architects: Hans Mikscha and Julian Niedzielski. The Wolfrum family lived in the villa until 1945. It was later taken over by the Czech Radio, which is still stationed there today. The building is imposing, with four floors and an extensive garden area around it. The villa is built of brick, plastered and decorated with numerous cornices and bay windows. Inside, the interiors are beautifully decorated with grand staircases and vaulted ceilings. The villa is declared a monument and protected by Czech law.
