Biography:

Witold Janowski was born on 6 November 1926 in Warsaw. He was a Polish graphic artist, professor at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdansk, he created posters, graphic designs, he was also involved in exhibitions, publishing graphics and philatelic issuing. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. He taught at Bilkent University in Ankara. He died on 12 April 2006 in Warsaw.
