Felicjan Marynowski was a corporal in the 85th pp, which was stationed in Novaya Vileyka before the war. He took part in the defensive war of 1939. In 1943, he joined the Home Army and adopted the pseudonym "Blok". He was distinguished by his extraordinary courage, even risk-taking. He fought initially under the command of Zygmunt Szendzielarz "Łupaszka", and from 1944. - in the "Blyskawica" unit. In September 1944, when the NKVD began mass arrests of AK soldiers, Marynowski was captured by the Soviets in his hiding place in Novaya Vileyka. He was held in the NKVD prison in Lukiszki in Vilnius, the investigation was carried out at Ofiarna Street and Mickiewicza Street 29. During one of the transports for interrogation, Marynowski escaped from the escorts. He made his way to the village of Wiktoryszki and took refuge in the house of the Paszkiewicz family. His hiding place was discovered and Marynowski was killed while defending himself from arrest. The farmers with whom Felicjan was hiding gave the hero a dignified burial on a picturesque hill near the village of Łoźniki. Later, the villagers began to bury their dead around this grave - thus the present cemetery was created. In 2002, a new cross was placed on the grave of F. Marynowski a new cross was placed on his grave. The daughters of the soldier took part in this ceremony. 27.05.2003 r. Felicjan Marynowski was posthumously awarded the rank of lieutenant and decorated with the Cross for Freedom and Independence with Swords and the Polish Army Medal.
