Burial site originally marked by a statue of the Virgin and Child Jesus on a two-stage plinth and base. Statue and plinth overturned. Statue on its own octagonal base (123 x 37 x 35). Mary stands on a flattened sphere entwined by a serpent, supporting Christ (head perpetuated). Dressed in long ruffled gown and mantle with veil. Visible feet. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front of the second step of the plinth in an engraved frame an engraved inscription (1).
