Stanisława Kukiel (1885-1950) was an independence activist, the wife of Marian Kukiel. Already during her secondary school education, she was involved in revolutionary and independence activities. She was the founder of the women's organisation "Promień", an underground academic organisation with a democratic and socialist orientation.
