Biography:

Stanisław Kuniczak (1900-1974), completed his education in Vienna, then in Lwów. There, in 1914, he joined the Polish Military Organisation. Two years later, he began serving in the Polish Legions. In 1939, when the USSR invaded Poland, he went to Romania, then made his way to France, from where he moved to the UK after its collapse. He taught at the Scottish War College for a year. He lived permanently in London. There he founded the Circle of Lvovians. In 1971, he was appointed Minister of Social Affairs, Government in Exile.
