Biography:

commander and commander of ships of the Polish Navy, director and deputy chairman of the board of the Polish Institute and General Sikorski Museum in London, Minister of Military Affairs in the Polish Government in Exile. In the years 1926-27, he studied mathematics at Warsaw University. In 1930, he graduated from the Officer Cadet School of the Polish Navy in Toruń. During World War II, he was commander of the destroyer ORP "Ślązak". After the war, he took up the post of director of the Polish Institute and General Sikorski Museum in London for many years.
