Comments on the state of preservation and visible restoration:

The surface of the granite is finished in a light polish. The tombstone is slightly higher at the head, allowing rainwater to run off freely. No visible cracks on the gravestone slab or foundation. The grave is structurally stable.The cross, the main inscription and two additional inscriptions are made using the technique of applied lead letters.
