Biography:

Franciszek Krudowski (1860-1945), painter. He studied first in Krakow and then from 1875 to 1880 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Awarded numerous prizes, he left for further studies in Rome, where he stayed until 1893. After many travels, he settled permanently in Krakow in 1900. He painted mainly religious and mythological paintings and portraits.
