The Church of Saint-Jacques in Lunéville is a Baroque church founded in 1745 by Stanislas Leszczynski. The church was built between 1730 and 1747, so the Polish king helped to complete the building. The church is located in Lorraine, the region of France of which Stanislas Leszczyński was ruler from 1737. Thanks to his financial support, not only was the building completed, but also the towers were built, the organ was purchased and the interior decorations were made. Leszczyński entrusted the completion of the building to his court architect Emmanuel Héré.
