Biography:

Jerzy Kenar was born on 19 January 1948 in Iwonicz-Zdrój. In 1973 he moved to Sweden, from where he permanently emigrated to the USA in 1979. In 1980 he opened the Wooden Gallery in Chicago (the current name is Studio Wooden Gallery). He is described as one of the best-known Polish artists in the USA.
