Biography:

Andrzej Pruszyński (1836-1895), sculptor, born in Warsaw. He studied under Jakub Tatarkiewicz, later at the School of Fine Arts and then at the Academy of St Luke in Rome. Together with Leonardo Marconi, he ran a sculpture studio. Among other things, he is the author of the sculpture in front of the Church of the Holy Cross in Warsaw depicting Christ carrying the cross.
