Biography:

Zygmunt Otto (1874-1944), born in Lviv, sculptor. He graduated from the Imperial Royal School of Arts and Crafts in Lviv and the School of Fine Arts in Krakow. He won the first prize in the competition for the sculptural decoration adorning the front of the building of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1898), he won a competition for the design of a water feature in front of the building (1900) and received a gold medal at the exhibition in Riga.
