Biography:

Maciej Moszew (1940-2023), Polish cribbage artist and architect. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology in 1969. From 1961 he participated in the Cracovian crib competition, winning more than forty times. In total, he has created more than seventy cribs, mainly small ones, but his realisations include a 3 m high and 60 m² crib displayed in front of the Hotel de Ville. He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the St Christopher medal from the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow (2012), the Badge of Honour "Meritorious for Polish Culture" (2017) and the "Honoris Gratia" badge for services to the City of Krakow (2022).
