Tombstone of the family of Josef Zielina

Český Těšín | Czech Republic

Burial site marked by an obelisk on a two-stage plinth and base. Base of trapezoidal cross-section in the form of schematically outlined rocks. Leaning against it is a cast-iron marker with the old grave numbering: "188". The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges, the second, higher, finished with profiling. Obelisk topped with a pyramidion. In its finial an engraved cross filled with white paint and an inscription. On the first step of the pedestal in the upper right corner the signature of the stonemason's workshop. There in the centre a copper alloy cast rosette with handle. The whole is surrounded by a wrought iron fence on a foundation consisting of vertical slats ending in lilies, joined at the bottom by a single and at the top by two horizontal slats. At the corners, posts terminating in balls. In the fields between the vertical elements, semicircular arches in antithetic arrangement, filled with channels with ends curled into volutes. Above them, between the horizontal mouldings, pairs of clasped escutcheons surmounted by a spiral. On the axis at the front a wicket. Between the obelisk and the fence a path paved with ceramic tiles.
