Tombstone of Wincenty Ryzy

Polonezköy | Turkey

Burial place marked by cross on plinth. Cross wider at the lower part. On the cross at the front an engraved inscription (1), below an oval panel with a photograph. The man is depicted in bust, in a shot slightly to the left. He is dressed in dark attire. Visible long beard, moustache, wearing glasses. The plinth is in the form of stone blocks. In front of the gravestone a diagonally laid slab with a ritual inscription (2), in front of it a smaller slab with a ritual inscription (3). The tombstone in a common plot with the tombstones of Zofia, Zofia, Michal Ryzy. The whole was originally enclosed by a fence consisting of pyramidal posts connected by a chain (fragments visible).
