Biography:

Aleksander Kazimierz Sapieha (1624-1671), bishop of Vilnius and Samogitia, secretary to His Majesty the King, canon of Vilnius and Warsaw, chancellor of the Vilnius Academy and University of the Society of Jesus from 1667. In 1657 he served as clerical referendary of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1671 he consecrated the Ostrobramska Chapel in Vilnius. He is buried in Vilnius Cathedral.
