Biography:

Jan Szyttler (1763-1850), Polish cook. He worked at the court of Stanisław August Poniatowski. He was the first in Poland to write systematic cookery books, including Kuchnia myśliwska, czyli na łowach (1823) and Kucharz dobrze usposobiony (1830).
