Biography:

Ernest Otton Wilimowski (born Ernst Otto Pradella, 1916-1997), Polish footballer, striker, representative of Poland in 1934-1939 and of the Third Reich in 1941-1942. In 1938, he broke the record for the number of goals scored during a single match - three or four during the Brazil-Poland match during the World Cup in France (the record was broken in 1994 by Oleg Salenko, who scored 5 goals). Initially associated with Ruch Chorzów, he was included on the German nationality list during World War II and, on the advice of coach Józef Kałuża, moved to Saxony, where he worked as a policeman and footballer. Considered a traitor to the nation in Poland, he died in Karslruhe in 1997.
