Biography:

Leopold Moczygemba (1824-1891), member of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, founder of Panna Maria, Texas (1854). He patronised the formation of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Fraternal Aid Society in Chicago. Called the patriarch of the Polish community.
