Biography:

Szymon Kobrzyński (1835-1905), Polish clergyman. A participant in the January Rising, after which he went to Paris, Rome and then to Bulgaria, where, having adopted the Eastern rite, he stayed as a missionary for 20 years. From 3 March 1889, he looked after Holy Trinity Church in Chicago for three months. From Chicago he returned to Rome, went to Bulgaria and again to Rome, where he died in 1905.
