Biography:

Stanisław Cholewiński (died probably in 1965), clergyman, Polish activist and educator. From 1910 to 1965, pastor of St Joseph's Church in Chicago. During his ministry, a new brick church was erected. Particularly meritorious for the parish, which became a centre of patriotism, mainly during the First World War.
