Biography:

Józef Dąbrowski(1842-1903), Polish clergyman and Polish activist. Participant in the January Uprising. In 1869 he was ordained a priest at the Polish College in Rome. In 1870, he arrived in the United States. For 13 years he served as pastor at Poland Center Wisconsin. In 1883 he went to Detroit, where he founded a seminary and became its rector. He also opened a Catholic high school, St. Mary's Preparatory.
