Clara Świeczkowska (1892-1986), American Polish activist of Polish descent. Recruiter for the Polish Army during World War I, founder and president of the Polish Activities League in the USA. Publisher of the magazine "Polish Woman". First woman to hold the post of Vice-President of the Polish Roman Catholic Union in America.
