Tomb of Maria Czajkowska

An earth tomb on a rectangular plan, covered with a slab, at the head of which is an obelisk on a three-tier pedestal and a three-tier base. A cross is carved on the obelisk at the front. The first two steps of the base in sandstone. Second step of base with chamfered upper edges. Third step of base with chamfered upper edges, engraved signature to rear. First pedestal step with chamfered upper edges. Second base step with moulded upper edges. The third step of the plinth with moulded upper edges obscured by triangular peaks on each side. Engraved inscription to the front. Tomb built of brick, covered with a barrel vault. Entrance at the front, partly buried with earth. There are at least two tin coffins inside.

TU SPOCZYWA / Z Lityńskich / MARYA CZAYKOWSKA / * 13. czerwca 1875. / zakończyła życie w Kowalówce 30. grudnia 1910. / CZEŚĆ JEJ PAMIĘCI! //.
