Biography:

Kazimierz Pochwalski (1855-1940), Polish painter, mainly a portraitist. He also created religious and genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes. Graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Krakow. Between 1893 and 1918, he was a professor at the Akademie der bildenden Kunste in Vienna. Portraitist at the Viennese imperial court.
