The publication is a presentation of sacred buildings from successive dioceses that are religious and social centres of the American Polish community.

This time, churches in the style of Polish cathedrals were selected from the states of Michigan, Massachusetts and Minnesota. The sites are characterised and their current appearance is presented in magnificent photographs of both architectural masses and interior decoration. The history of the churches is also presented, with the most important events and persons of merit in their development.

This is the second publication in the series "Polish Parishes and Churches in the USA".
