Biography:

Robert Sobociński (1960), born in Poznań. Sculptor and foundry artist. He graduated from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań, and also studied at the Poznań University of Technology. He has made many monuments, both in Poland and abroad. These include the Polish Armed Forces monument in Birmingham, UK, the Frederic Chopin monument in Manchester, UK, and the Dante Alighieri monument in Bar-le-Duc, France.
