Biography:

Michał Antoni Zwoliński (1846-1912), born in Warsaw, was the son of Józef and Paulina Irena, née de Seifert. Zwoliński began to learn the craft of cupmaking at an early age, and his teacher was a family friend, Michał Petersilge. Around 1860, he took over the business where he worked and, thanks to his entrepreneurial skills, developed it considerably. Zwoliński married Maria Michalina Rogalewiczówna, with whom he had a daughter, Matilda.
