Tombstone of Kajetan Fułwaka

Bertniki | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and two-stepped base. Cross with arms ending in a trillium form, on a high plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ, whose legs extend to the height of the plinth, above the titulus. The first step of the plinth with moulded upper edges, an engraved inscription to the front. The second step with an Ionic kimation, covered with a hipped roof. On the front an oval panel with a relief of the Virgin Mary. Mary is shown frontally, up to her knees, her hands bent at the elbows pointing to her burning heart. The figure is dressed in a gown and veil.
