Tombstone of the Szozd family

Бучач | Ukraine

Burial place marked by cross on three-tier plinth, in band. Cross on plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ. The first step of the plinth glazed. The second step of the plinth with profiled upper edges. On the front a stepped frame with quarter-circle chamfered upper corners with engraved inscription. The third step of the plinth slightly tapering upwards, with moulded upper edges. On the sides engraved frames with quarter-circle chamfered upper corners. On the front a niche in which a figure of the Virgin Mary is carved in relief. Mary with her hands folded in a prayer gesture, a rosary hanging through her right hand. She is dressed in a long gown and veil. .
