Tombstone of Elżbieta Piller

Бучач | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross with arms ending in the carving of a zigzag arch, with chamfered edges, on a plinth. First step of plinth with moulded top edges. Second step of plinth with simplified beaming comprising architrave and cornice, covered by hipped roof. On the four sides panels enclosed by an overhanging pointed arch, framed by pea-shaped triangles, with engraved inscriptions: front (1), back (2), left side (3), right side (4).

(2) WIDUA / JOANNIS PAULI / PILLER TYPOCRAPHI //.
(3) NATA / JCLAVIAE* / 1811 //.
(4) 10/8 / 1884 / HIC / MORTUA //.

*Być może chodzi o czeską miejscowość Jhlava.
