Tombstone of Karolina Daniewicz

Beremiany | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross, framed by figures of St John and Mary, on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross on plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ, above a titulus. To the right of the cross Mary with a sword piercing her heart. To the left St John with his hands folded in a prayer gesture. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. On the front an engraved inscription (1). The second step of the pedestal covered with a wider, moulded panel. To the front, an engraved inscription (2).

2. TU SPOCZYWA / KAROLINA / DANIEWICZ / S. PAMIENCI / PROSI O POZ / DROWIENIE / ANIELSKIE † / 1901 //.
