Tombstone of Maria Glebocka

Бучач | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and base. Chamfered cross, with moulded tabs, on moulded plinth. Base with chamfered upper edges. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. The second step of the plinth with moulded upper edges, covered by a hipped roof. On the front an engraved earlobe frame with a ritual inscription.

The gravestone was created much later than the inscription on the monument states, in the 1st third of the 20th century. This is indicated by the simplified form of the gravestone, characteristic of this period. Taking into account the burials in Sector X, it is also possible that the stonemason erroneously forged the year of death of Maria Głęboka, who could have died in 1936 or even in 1863.
