The burial site was originally marked by a cast-iron cross on a four-stepped plinth and base with a small step added to the front. Cross not preserved, attachment visible. First and second steps of plinth tapering to top. The base, first, second and third steps of the plinth with chamfered top edges. The fourth step moulding transitions to a hipped canopy with a dodger. On the front an engraved frame, with a ritual inscription.
