Tombstone of Andrzej Markowski

Jazłowiec | Ukraine

The burial place marked by an open chapel built on a square plan and covered by a gabled roof. The plinth is high, made of sandstone blocks. On its corners Tuscan columns supporting a cornice broken by a triangular gable on each side. Cast-iron entablatures run between the column heads. The roof is surmounted by a cross with arms ending in the carving of a cataract arch, on a plinth. Inside the chapel an obliquely placed tombstone on a base. On the tombstone a panel with quarter-circle chamfered lower corners, closed with an overhanging full arch. In it an engraved inscription.
