Tombstone of Edmund Sager

Zaleszczyki | Ukraine

Burial site marked by an obelisk on a two-stage plinth. The obelisk is enclosed by an overhanging pointed arch. In front a bas-relief cross with convex carved head of Christ, below a cast-iron plaque surrounded by a braided cast inscription (1). The first step of the plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front, the engraved signature. To the right an engraved inscription (2). The second step of the pedestal covered with wider panels. To the front, in a niche enclosed by an arch in a donkey's back, a relief figure of Immaculata.
