In the cemetery, near the grave of Father Woliński, there is the grave of Plut. Witold Szczemirski of the 13th Uhlan Regiment. He fell in the charge near Nemanczyn on 19.10.1920. He was buried in Powiewiórka in a family grave. He was posthumously awarded the Order of War Virtuti Militari, 5th class, no. 3572. The grave field is surrounded by a fence, in which there are two gravestones in the shape of a stele topped with a cross and in the shape of a pedestal topped with a cross. The inscription concerning the soldier: "Here rested / after two years of war hardships / the late / WITUŚ SZCZEMIRSKI / Plut. 13 p. Ulan. / He was killed by a Lithuanian bullet / in a charge near Niemenczyn / on 19.X.1920. / at the age of 26". Conservation repairs to the grave were carried out in 2021 by the Foundation for the Protection of the Common Cultural Heritage Terpa as part of a task co-financed by the programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Places of National Remembrance Abroad".
