Built in 1812, the Dunin Borkowski Chapel is one of the oldest in the Lychakiv Cemetery. The chapel was built in the classicist style, with a four-column pediment, originally decorated with the Dunin Borkowski family coat of arms. From the front, the entrance to the chapel was originally decorated with three sculptures: a Chronos, a Hymen and a funeral cry, whose authorship is attributed to the eminent Austrian sculptor, Hartman Witwer. In 2021, the Polonica Institute began restoration work on the chapel.
